Sliding windows are the most popular choice for Chennai bedrooms, kitchens and halls. The sashes slide on rollers, so nothing swings into the room or out over the balcony, and a third track carries a mosquito mesh shutter.

2 track or 3 track?
A 2-track sliding window has two glass sashes. A 3-track window adds a third track for a sliding mosquito mesh shutter, so you can open the glass and keep the mesh closed. For wide openings we split the window into three or four panels so more of it can open.
What goes into our sliding windows
- Three Diamond lead-free uPVC profiles with galvanised steel reinforcement.
- Smooth rollers and interlocks with brush seals to keep out dust and rain.
- Drainage slots that carry rainwater out of the bottom track.
- Optional double glazing, toughened glass and built-in steel grills.
Where sliding windows work best
Bedrooms and halls facing a balcony, kitchens where a swinging sash would hit the counter or chimney, and any wide opening where you want a big view. If an opening faces heavy wind-driven rain or a noisy main road, a casement window seals tighter.

Questions we're asked
Is a 3-track sliding window better than 2-track?
A 3-track window is better if you want mosquito mesh: the mesh shutter slides on its own track, so you can keep it closed while the glass is open. A 2-track window is slimmer and costs a little less, and a fixed or openable mesh can still be added.
Do uPVC sliding windows leak in heavy rain?
Our sliding windows have brush seals on the interlocks and drainage slots in the bottom track that carry water out. For an opening that takes direct wind-driven rain, we may suggest a casement window, which presses onto rubber gaskets when closed.
How quickly can you make and fit them?
We come to measure as soon as you place the order. One or two windows or doors are usually made in our Vadaperumbakkam factory and fitted within 1–2 days. Larger orders take a few days more depending on the number of openings, and we give you a fitting date when we measure.
Which uPVC profile do you use?
We build with Three Diamond uPVC profiles, made in Chennai. They are lead-free (calcium-zinc stabilised), UV-stabilised with titanium dioxide for strong sun and coastal air, and tested at CIPET, the Government of India's plastics testing institute. The profile warranty is Three Diamond's, handed over in writing with your invoice.
